In this episode of Engaging Truth, host Pastor Trey Sansom turns the tables on frequent host Pastor John Cain and puts him in the guest chair for a conversation about one of the most foundational truths of the Christian faith: Jesus is God.
Together they explore why the divinity of Jesus matters for salvation, redemption, forgiveness, and Christian hope. If Jesus were merely a great teacher or extraordinary human being, He could not rescue us from sin, death, and the devil. But because Jesus is fully God and fully human, His death and resurrection accomplish what we could never accomplish for ourselves. This conversation points listeners to the certainty of Christ’s promises and the eternal hope we have in Him.
